An uncommon very dark-flowered pendulous cymbidium hybrid. The genetics aren’t complex, it is Cym. (finlaysonianum x ensifolium) x canaliculatum. These are mericlones so all the seedlings are identical to the mother plant, Cym Udaigiri “Long Spike”. These orchids are seedlings in 3Cymbidium rectum has been in cultivation in the Singapore Botanical Gardens for many years. This orchid has a beautiful combination of yellows and reds. These orchids are seedlings in 3″ pots that will bloom in one to two years. They will be a beautiful and incredible addition to your collection.
