Phragmipedium Leslie Garay longifolium Waunakee x caudatum

Phrag. Leslie Garay longifolium Waunakee x caudatum is a primary hybrid of lady slipper species Phrag. caudatum and Phrag. longifolium. Blooms sequentially from a single inflorescence. Vigorous plants can produce several flowers from the same spike. Bloom pigment darkens as the flower ages and/or with exposure to brighter light. Although not currently in bloom, these are blooming size orchids in 5” pots. These orchids like to be kept moist, but not soggy with good drainage. They need bright, filtered light with strong air circulation so that conditions around the roots do not become stagnant. Repot annually.
